RN Clinic - Allergy - Mission Valley New

This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or 7:45am-4:45pm as needed. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley but may travel to other sites as needed.

Why Mission Valley Allergy?

• Consists of two RNs and an LVN providing care for around 30 patients per day including allergy shots.
• You will observe patients, do triage, provide education and documentation.
• Conveniently located right off the 163 freeway.
  
  

What You'll Do

• This position is roughly 50/50 direct, face-to-face patient care vs. administrative care (phones, messaging, etc).
• Ensure Scripps’ patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes:
• compliance with patient assessments and care tasks
• triaging
• completion of clinical procedures
• emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
  

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills

• ADN or Nursing Diploma
  
  

Required Certification/Registration

• CA RN license
• BLS
  
  

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification

• BSN
• Two years RN experience (outpatient experience highly preferred)
• Previous experience in allergy

Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
